1 Corinthians 2 (NIV and KJV) Observation

Observations- context, who, what, when, where, why, how, repeated words, descriptive terms, main nouns or verbs, significant sentence or conjunction
context- part of Paul's first letter to Corinth
who- Paul, Corinth was a major port city, this was a letter to the church community in Corinth
what- Spiritual wisdom is the main topic, defines the problems happening and responds with the Gospel (good news of Jesus)
when- after the death of Jesus
where-Corinth
why-Paul heard about the problems happening at the church in Corinth
how- he wrote to the church
repeated words- wisdom, spirit, power, spiritual
descriptive terms-
main nouns-spirit
main verbs- received
significant sentence-Eye hath not seen , nor ear heard, neither have entered in to the heart of man, the things which God hat prepared for them that love him.
conjunction- Now we have received , not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
I used the following as resources to make better observations, interpretations, & applications.
Still working on/ figuring out how to do this type of inductive study. It's definitely more in depth and requires some time. So hope y'all are learning and enjoying this process with me.
