What did you do today?

We had breakfast all together and spent the first part of the morning making plans for the day. Ross made a grocery list and I trimmed the kids’ and my nails. Lucas chose to paint his toes red. I don’t know when we started doing this most Saturdays but I love it because Lucas and I get one on one time and Cora and Ross get one on one time. Before we left the house I switched laundry from the washer to the dryer. On the way to the mall we talked about house rentals we have been looking at in Shreveport. It will be our new home this summer and we are excited because it will be longer than our year here in Knoxville. At the mall we let the kids walk and just enjoyed being out of the house. After the mall we stopped at our favorite Asian grocery store and picked up the items we had on our list. On the way back home we discussed lunch plans and decided on rotisserie chicken with Mac and cheese and peas. We ate and then Coraline went down for a nap. Lucas and I played with his trains for a little and now he is playing computer games while I put away the laundry. Hope your Saturdays are full of peace and joy.
